NEC launches specialist LCD company

Following the business re-organisation plan announced in May 2002, NEC Corporation has launched a new business, NEC LCD Technologies Limited. The company will design, develop, manufacture, market and service color LCDs for industrial applications and high-resolution display modules for high-end monitors.

Following the launch, Mr Kazuo, President of the new company said: “NEC has a long-standing history of providing industry–leading display technologies and products. NEC LCD Technologies will continue this tradition by delivering a broad range of high quality display solutions”
