SUNRISE TFT PANEL FROM NEC HAS LED BACKLIGHT

High contrast 12.1inch LVDS panel for low voltage applications

Dedicated NEC distributor Sunrise Electronics has just announced that it is now shipping a new version of high resolution display module featuring White LED backlighting in its extensive range of colour TFT panels from NEC Electronics.

The new 12.1 inch panel is the NL10276BC24-14 from NEC offering the industry standard resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels in 262,144 colours. Its new feature is a White LED backlight, giving the benefits of low voltage, low power operation. This makes it suitable for industrial and portable applications such as control panels or information systems.

The NL10276BC24-14 has a viewing angle of 45º (side-side) 20º (up) and 40º (down). This panel has a very high contrast ratio of 600:1 making it suitable for use under a wide range of ambient lighting conditions. Response time is fast at 25ms (Ton + Toff) and input is via the industry standard LVDS digital interface, with 6-bit digital data signals.

Mechanically, these modules feature a narrow frame, and are thin (only 6.5mm) overall and weigh only 285 grams. They are suitable for a wide range of applications such as industrial PC, monitors in process control and display terminals for control or information systems.
