High Street, Stony Stratford

Built alongside the Roman Road Watling Street, the saying 'Cock and Bull stories' is reputed to have started here from stories told in the old coaching inns of these names. Loads of good pubs and Curry Houses.

The town has had many famous visitors including John Wesley, and the boy King Edward V and his brother the Duke of York who were apprehended here by Richard Duke of Gloucester and taken to the Tower of London.
