Air Conditioning System |
- Capable of measuring air
temperature and humidity as well as incorporating an electric motor
and a programmable microcontroller to enable accurate temperature
control. With keypad to input desired temperature and LCD to show
set or actual temperature and clock timer for time and 7 day
programming.
- NEC's range of 8 / 32 bit K1 micros (78K0/V850) can
provide solutions optimised in cost/performance

|
Outdoor Temperature Sensor |
- Capable of measuring
temperature or humidity these outdoor sensors enable more
sophisticated control by the central heating unit. Devices may be
mains or battery operated and advanced systems may include the
option of synchronising with a remote real time clock.
- NEC's 8 bit
micro range (78K/78K0S) is ideally suited to these applications.

Programmable Radiator
Thermostat |
- These devices incorporate
an electric motor and a programmable microcontroller to enable
accurate temperature control of the radiator with keypad to input
desired temperature and LCD to show set or actual temperature. In
battery driven situations low power indication is provided.
Optionally these devices may have wireless communication with the
central control unit.
- NEC's 8 bit micro range (78K/78K0s) with
"motor control" features is ideally suited to these applications.

Hot Water Dispenser |
- Independent from the main
system - a hot water dispenser provides instantaneous temperature
regulated water. Electronics provide monitoring and control of water
temperature, flow rate and heating system, while displaying the
settings on an LCD panel. Advanced systems may include the option of
synchronising with a remote control unit.
- NEC’s 8 bit micro range
(78K/78K0s) is ideally suited to these applications.

|
Programmable Room Sensor |
- The programmable room
sensor controls room temperature for all the heating systems. A
display maybe mounted in the control panel to provide a user
interface for control of the central heating. Some room sensors may
include remote access via an Infra-Red (IR) control unit.

Solar Control Unit |
- Solar heating systems can
provide an additional source of water heating to supplement the
Central Heating system. The Solar Control unit's function is to
optimise the transfer of solar heated hot water, provide monitoring
of the temperature of the water system and controls the associated
valves and pumps.
- NEC's range of 8 and 32 bit micros (78K0/V850)
can provide solutions optimised in cost/performance.

|
Central Heating Unit |
- The key control component in a
heating system enabling programmable control over the operation of
the entire system. The control unit receives data from the array
of sensors from the air temperature / humidity to the water
temperature and communicating and controlling all components of
the system, such as the Burner Control Unit. Dependent on the
sophistication of the system the CHU may also provide direct
control of system pumps.
- Whatever the level of
sophistication required, NEC's range of 8 and 32 bit micros
(78K0/V850) can provide solutions optimised in cost/performance.

Burner Control Unit |
- Control over the proper ignition
and combustion of the burner is accomplished with the Burner
Control unit, which provides for example monitoring of the gas
supply, control of the gas valve and spark control.
- NEC’s 8 bit micro range (78K
/78K0s) is ideally suited to this application.
